Information for New Users

Thank you for purchasing a King Stairs Software product. This page provides important information about your purchase and where to find additional information.

License Basics

Once your order is accepted and processed, your will receive one or more e-mails. One of these e-mails will include the permanent user license for your product.

If you purchased multiple products (eg Jot+ Notes and myTasks), you will receive a separate license e-mail for each product.

Licenses are normally despatched within a few minutes of the order being processed.

Because of the increasing use of anti-spam measures by ISPs, you will need to ensure that e-mail from kingstairs.com is allowed into your mailbox – license e-mails can be mis-classified as spam. You may need to contact your ISP for guidance.

Software

You do not need to download any special software – your license can be used with the software already installed, using the instructions included with the license.

Current versions of our software can always be found in the Files area.

If you ordered a CD-ROM, it will be despatched by standard 1st class mail within 2 business days. For US delivery addresses, delivery time is normally 2-5 business days; for international addresses it is impossible to quote a delivery time as local postal services vary tremendously, but please allow 15 business days before contacting us.

Billing Issues

If you purchased your license on-line with a credit/debit card, the purchase will turn up in your next statement as coming from “PLIMUS”. As part of the ordering process, our agents send e-mail confirmations of the order to the address used in the order.

This website includes an extensive support area, to help you with any problems you may encounter. We strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the Frequently Asked Questions section as it should be your first port of call if a problem arises.
